G Developments - Liquid Flow Screed

We supplied 8.8m3 of liquid flow screed from our suppliers Hills Concrete.
Total area was 176m2 at a depth of 50mm. -
Garage Floor Repairs

After an enquiry from a housebuilder we were requested to perform remedial work on an uneven double garage, this involved sanding the existing slab and covering with Mapei renovation screed.

Marks and Spencer Refurbishment - Levelling Screed
Location: Giltbrook, Nottingham

We were awarded this screeding contract in January 2020 for a refurbishment of a retail unit for Marks and Spencer.

The total floor area of the ground and first floor combined was approximately 5200m2 and we were asked to install a nominal 5-6mm.
After on site meetings and discussions with the main contractors we had agreed that the screed was to be installed in two visits which would keep the programme of works running smoothly.
The products used were Tomsit XXL and XXL Power. -
Levelling Screed Over Underfloor Heating - WeberFloor
Location: Grantham
Contract Duration: 2 Hours
This project was awarded to us working alongside Weberfloor. We have built a strong relationship with Weber and have become one of their preferred installers of their flooring range.

After onsite visits and discussions with a Weber representative and the main contractor Weberfloor 4310 was selected to be installed at depths of 5-32mm over 190m2.
This required approximately 270 bags which were pumped into place using our new MTec 330 pump in under 2 hours. -

Screed To Factory Unit Refurbishment
Location: West Midlands
Contract Duration: 1 day
We were contacted to supply and install a screed to a factory unit that had uneven and damaged floor. After an onsite survey we decided to use Gyvlon Excelio supplied by Tarmac as the depths that were required ranged from 12-28mm. This is one of the most impressive liquid screeds on the market.

New Build 4 Bedroom house
Location: Loughborough

For this project we was asked to supply and install a 1200 gauge DPM, 100mm PIR insulation, 20mm PIR exterior wall cold bridging, 6mm perimeter expansion strip, 500 gauge tape sealed slip membrane and finally a 50mm screed.

We used Tarmac to supply the Gyvlon anhydrite liquid screed. This project was completed by one of our two man teams in a single visit. -
Floor Screed Leicester
Location: Leicester
Private new build house in Leicester, 195m2 using 10.8 cubic metres of Tarmac, Thermio Plus Gyvlon liquid screed. This was supplied and installed over the customers underfloor heating system. Thermio screed was selected on this project to improve the performance of the under floor heating system.

Concrete bases - Concrete bases to two new builds

For this project we were asked to supply and install 75mm of self-compacting concrete to 75m2.

We used Breedon to supply us with 5.5 cubic metres of Breedonflow self-compacting concrete for high quality finish horizontal slab applications. -
Refurbishment of office block to apartments in Beeston
Location: Beeston, Nottingham
Contract Duration: 1 day
This project was a conversion into 25 separate apartments over 3 story's. We supplies and installed a 500 gauge slip membrane and a 6mm expansion perimeter strip to all walls. Levels were then taken and a 40mm-63mm screed was pump placed to 570 square metres.

We selected Tarmac's Gyvlon Screed A (Anhydrite liquid screed) for this project. Over 32 cubic metres was supplied and fitted in one day. -

Mitchell Plastering won the contracts for the drylining, plastering, rendering and floor screed for this project and competed all of the works required in just over 11 months.
